Dr Nujhat Jahan, CEO

Dr Nujhat Jahan is the CEO. She has a doctorate degree in Statistics (Operation Research). She has over 22 years of extensive experience in teaching as a professor in the Department of Statistics, Biostatistics & Informatics at Dhaka University. She joined Faith Regen in 2004 and is actively working to develop new strategies for the long term sustained of the company. With a very strong research background she has published many papers in national and international journals. The findings of these articles bear strong significance at the national policy level. She has also worked as consultant, fundraiser /bid writer and principle investigator in various quantitative and qualitative social researches on BME communities, population health and other regeneration activities funded by various international organisations for example, WHO, Population Council, DFID, FHI, British Council, Action Aid etc.

Dr Nahy Nassar, IT Consultant 

Dr. Nahy has been working with FRF UK since its inception in 2001. He has extensive experience in the design, build, and deployment of IT infrastructures and IT security solutions. He obtained his Ph.D. in Digital Communication Engineering from Imperial College, London University and MBA from Middlesex University. Dr. Nahy is also a member of the Institute of Directories (IOD) and Institute of Engineering & Technology (IET). He has been awarded the CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) in the United States.

Ashak Elahi, Functional Manager

Ashak started with FRF in November 2015 as a Functional Manager to lead various projects including Mosque and Community Engagement Project in greater London, BBO (Building Better Opportunities for women) and Domestic Violence in London Borough of Tower Hamlets. He is pioneer in working with BAME group, community and faith leaders, local government, charity and third sector organisation. He is a qualified computer trainer  and Creative English teacher for the FRF. He has MBA in HR from university of Wales Trinity Saint David, Carmarthen.

 Tanha Habib, Business Development and Operations Manager

Business Development and Operation Manager

Tanha has been supporting the Business Development and operations services of Faith Regen since 2017. Coming from a background of both national and international development Tanha has worked in various organisations in Europe, Asia and Africa and holds an MA in Human Rights. With a BA in English she taught for 10 years and continues to enjoy time in research and project development.

Mujahidul Islam, IT Media and Communications Manager

Mujahid completed BSC in Computer Science and Engineering and Masters degree in Computer Networking from the University of Greenwich. He has been with FRF since 2010 looking after its IT, Media and Communications department. With many years of experience in electronic media he has been instrumental in the production of many publications from FRF such as  ‘The Green Guide for Hajj’, produced and directed many documentaries such as “Living History, Moving People” in 2012, a short documentary on Jewish Muslim London Roots in 2013. He is also responsible for the smooth IT operation on and website building and maintanance.

Wahida Begum, Case Worker

Wahida Begum started working with Faith Regen Foundation in October 2014 and has been responsible for delivering a wide array of projects including its flagship employability projects and domestic violence projects. As a qualified Domestic Violence (DV) Advocate after graduating in Criminal Law and completing her Violence against Women and Girls (VAWG) training, Wahida continues to work on various Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) and DV projects. As of today Wahida has over 13 years of experience in DV and is a key member in driving FRF’s DV projects forward at the grassroots level.

Rumana Liza, Engagement Officer

Liza started working with FRF in 2022 to support its various community engagement projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Social Care and Economics and is a trained phlebotomist. Liza also has a rich background in retail, where she built her skills of working with customers from diverse backgrounds.

Dr. Hanaa Albanna, Senior Social Researcher

Dr, Hana holds a PhD in Marketing, social media and Public Relations from Cardiff Metropolitan University, a Public Relations professional diploma from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and a Master degree in Marketing. Hana worked closely with international development and non-profit organisations and has more than 15 years of experience in the field of international development. Hana delivered many training programmes worldwide covering strategic management, corporate communications, corporate social responsibilities and the sustainable development goals.

Shanjida Azad

Shanjida started working at FRF as a volunteer in August 2021. She joined FRF as a Project Officer since October 2022 and is a VAWG champion. Shanjida has a B.Sc and a M.Sc. in Statistics from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. She is a part qualified Accountant (ACCA) and has work experience in the accounting sector and in the research field. She has worked with children in the foundation stage with her childcare qualifications. She is a passionate musician specialised in Tagore songs.
