Faith Regen Foundation is looking for a Project Manager (service) to work with social/welfare services (Job centre, DWP), local government (council), and community and faith based organisations in Greater London who will be responsible for the delivery of a highly effective and quality-based service assigned to FRF. 


The ideal candidate will be a confident, analytical, motivational, target driven, proactive and willing to take challenges to achieve the target. 




Purpose of the job: 


To be responsible for the delivery of an effective and quality based project management service working with diverse communities, faith leaders and institutions, and vulnerable members of the community under different projects contracted to FRF for agreed number of hours per week. 




Main responsibility: 




-To provide effective leadership to ensure efficient and effective project delivery with performance indicators and all targets under the project are met.


-To manage, organise and motivate project team staff, subcontractors and partners.


-To produce work plan for the staff and delivery plan for the project to ensure agreed outputs are achieved and leads to further funds.


-To produce evidence of its operational achievements against set targets.


-To organise and deliver workshops for the faith leaders in culturally sensitive issues and to improve inter-faith relation.


-To work closely with the faith institutions to promote awareness and to develop links with local employers, education providers, health and public services.


-To build partnership with local service providers to access the resources and setup offices for smooth function and sustainment of FRF projects.


-To build relationship with the mosques, churches and temples to raise fund for FRF projects.


-To help building the faith institutes with their capacity, good governance and policies, and procedures.


-To arrange training and educational activities with the faith institutions.


-To ensure compliance with all internal and external quality assurance criteria including health and safety policy, GDPR and data security and handling policy.


-To be aware of and where relevant ensuring all the statutory requirement along with local authority social service department’s policies and procedures are understood, practiced and delivered by all member of the project team.


-To ensure that project systems and procedures are established and maintained in accordance with funder requirements and that all contract documentation is filed appropriately, completed on time.


-To recruiting staff and volunteers, managing and mobilising them for the maximum outcome and ensuring sustainability of the project.


-To monitor the progress of works on site, ensuring that remedial action is taken to protect the company’s interest in the event of any contract breaches.


-To facilitate monitoring and evaluation of the project and to produce monthly progress reports for the senior management, board of trustees and other stakeholders.


-To ensure all projects comply with equal opportunities legislation and good practice in regard tomental health and wellbeing of team. Also, to ensure that partners, contractors and consultants working on behalf of the company act in accordance with the policy.


-To produce marketing materials for publicity and recruitment, engaging with clients and partners.


-To encourage external contractors and consultants working on behalf of the company under the Outreach East, Better Building Opportunity for Women, Domestic Violence, Aim Higher and Mosque and Community Engagement contracts to act in accordance with the policy and report to the project manager any areas of concern.








-Educated to degree level or equivalent (desirable).






-Experience of 3-4 years of contract management preferably within the welfare to work sector.


-Experience of working in Domestic Violence and/or Mental Health provisions.


-Experience of working with the mosques and Imams also faith and community leaders.


-Experience in working with Local government, faith institutions, Job centre, charities and third sector organisation.


-Experience of writing reports, project management and managing data information.


-Experience in working in a GDPR environment.


-Have experience in working with BAME group.





-Strong interpersonal skills with an approachable personality.


-Excellent Project Management and report writing skills.


-High level of organisational and time management skills, and problem-solving skills with strong sense of initiative.





-Knowledge of and commitment to best practice in equalities and diversity.


-Knowledge of welfare to work sector, current labour market and awareness of issues faced by vulnerable people.





-Ability to exercise effective control over contracts and maintain relationship with funders.


-Ability to speak more than one language, (Bengali, Sylhety, Urdu) (desirable).


-Ability to work after work hours, evening and in some cases in the weekend.
