Covid19 Food Distribution Project

Between 2019-2022 Faith Regen Foundation distributed 50 daily essential food package vouchers in Tower Hamlets and Newham. Has been as a result of our domestic violence projects and activities in Tower Hamlets and Newham. The vouchers were used for any food items and clients included vulnerable women – mainly from domestic abuse backgrounds with families in these two boroughs. As a result of our food distribution project, we have supported 50 women directly and 150 individuals indirectly.

In the UK, more than 14 million people are currently living in poverty – including 4.5 children.

Since 2019 Faith Regen Foundation has been distributing food parcels and food vouchers disadvantaged people, including domestic violence victims who are locked in poverty.

The rising food costs are making basic meals unaffordable.
