‘Around three million women across the UK experience rape, domestic violence, forced marriage, stalking, sexual exploitation and trafficking, female genital mutilation (FGM) or crimes in the name of ‘honour’ each year.
FRF is a multi faith charity with a strong track record of achieving targets and outcomes to ensure positive change for disadvantaged individuals and communities. We have successfully engaged with over 15000 beneficiaries since our inception in 2001.
Our business advice team provides one to one business mentoring to both new entrepreneurs and small to medium sized business. Our advisors provide guidance and contacts to help people to develop their business. We also run workshop on Business Planning, Marketing, Business Advice, Mentoring, HR support and Sustainability Training for unemployed clients who want to take the self-employment route.
This was a one year project funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund. The project focused on Islamic gardening heritage, which developed in the Middle East from the 7th century onwards. The project’s aims were to connect wider communities with Islamic gardening heritage through a series of visits to Islamic gardens in the UK, talks and workshops led by Islamic gardening heritage experts.

Muslim Jewish London Roots
The project funded by Heritage Lottery Fund will provide an opportunity for Muslim and Jewish youth to learn about each other’s heritage through a cultural and generational exchange programme. This project will focus on Muslim & Jewish background to learn about the 20th century history of their own community within an East London context, and the issues and challenges faced by earlier generations. Participants will study the history of immigration of their own and other people’s community

Inspiring Projects Award
The Faith Regen Foundation: Work Focused ESOL Project in Tower Hamlets, has transformed the lives of some of the most disadvantaged people living in London and helped them get jobs. Their dedication and commitment to learning was recognised with an Inspiring Projects Award – sponsored by the Open University – as part of the 20th Adult Learners’ Week 14 – 20 May 2011.
